Dear all,

In 1995, during my undergraduation, operating systems started impressing me. Actually, I guess that since I used my first PC XT in 1992 operating systems excited me.

During my master degree I could work with a real-time operating system and learn more real concepts (more than the books show).

After my doctorate I started working at the University of Sao Paulo, Sao Carlos, Brazil. Then (march 2004) I decided to start an operating system project based on Linux and other Unixes. It is called OZ (Operating Zystem) and has many functionalities.

In this blog I will tell more about it.
